Yeah riding that way dragging a board behind would be very sketchy. So unless you are as talented as Sonny who can carry a whole quiver of boards and kites as he kites back to the beach you can clip your board to your leash and body drag someones board downwind back to them. I did this for a very grateful kiter at the Hatch on a super big swell day just as he was about to give up and drag to shore.WindMuch wrote:But be careful if you pick up someone else's board and try to clip it to your spare leash- you're essentially making their board into a slingshot-weapon when the board catches in the water, loads up and then ricochets back towards you.
