Hello everyone,
I am relatively new to the area and have rather long been intrigued by kiteboarding. As would be my luck, just as my interest peaks, it turns to off-season. That didn't stop me from being a little jealous as I was likely watching some of you on the webcam this past week.
I'm looking to take some lessons in the spring - is there a recommended place? There seems to be options for kites at 3rd and over at Crown Beach.
Thanks!
Rus

Re: Newb from south bay
Hey there. Welcome to Bay Area Kiteboarding!
The 'where is best to take lessons' topic has come up here before. Here are a few recent threads:
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=11275&p=78641&hilit ... ing#p78641
and
viewtopic.php?f=42&t=11269&p=78604&hili ... ing#p78604
And of course the "Schools" section (top of every page here on BAK), is also a good resource
Those'll get you started.
Which cam(s) have you been watching?
