Southeast Asia trip this winter?

Hey,
I am planning another random and unplanned trip thru SE Asia this winter similar to the one i did in South Amreica a few years ago.
I wanted to invite others to join me on all or any part of the trip that you can/want to go on as well as get comments
and feedback if you have been any of these places or if i have missed anything important.
This is a VERY rough outline and just points of interest that would be ideal to visit but mainly given time constraints
i am sure a lot will be cut or changed. When I was traveling up the western coast of South America in 2007 i took
most of the trip day to day deciding if i wanted to hang around an interesting area or take the next taxi/bus/train/plane onward which turned
out quite well. I probably will travel mostly but bus/train/boat with an occasional short flight from major cities and staying in
hostels, B&Bs and decent hotels.

If anyone would like to join any part of the travels let me know and we can figure out details. I would love to hear
about any other travels you have done, are planning to do in the area or info you might know.

My rough start and end dates are:

Leave San Francisco for Singapore around Dec 18th
Return from either Saigon or Singapore around Feb 5th

Rough itinerary so far is

Singapore-Kuala Lumpur-Phuket-Bangcock-Ankor Wat-Saigon-Mui Ne-Singapore
