It was blowing pretty hard last weekend, and the ranger said there are some windsurfers there occasionally. thousand island lake was gusting at about 50 at the same time, but it's hard to lug gear that far ...

As far as I know, D Max is the only person I know that has kited Mono Lake. Total eye burning saline/hardly fresh water. If you know Curtis D from Mammoth, he's the man to grill about kiting there. Have Fun, GM
