Floras Lake Oregon May 7-12 Windy! Road Trip Anyone??

Check out the wind archive for floras lake in may, look's pretty good for past 4 years. Maybe we should go check it out! Day 1: leave early arrive big lagoon crescent city for flat water & wave session. Day 2: Head up the coast surely stopping along the way for a session-lot's of possibility's, arive floras lake. Day 3:Floras Lake & Ocean Breaks!! From bandon to floras lake downwinder 7 nm, Fun!! Party!! Day 4: Whatever we'll be cruising! Day 5: Head back down the coast. Not set on those dates, but they look good! Passenger Van's & Car pooling, bring camping gear!!

I'm so down. Been wanting to kite this place and could use a good road trip. Plenty of camping gear.

If you havent been there yet, just know that it is very small!!! You get 4 or 5 kites on the water at the far end its crowded........but great flat water.....the ocean seemed like a hard beach break (i didnt venture out there...) this was June about 6-7 years ago....it may have changed some since then...it was mostly windsurfers making the short reach back and forth...... have a great time..........we did..Deb

big lagoon could be sick
drive out to the camp ground then head west to rig and luanch
dont doit right on hiway 1

also pistel river at golds beach can get big
but has lots of wind
then there is clam beach ..
its huge and open you can drive on this beach
its in cali near humbolt
