Haha, I think I have a few shots without Chip in them--take a look at joshanon.com > galleries > kiteboarding (I actually teach photography for betterphoto.com and write for the O'Reilly Inside Aperture blog: http://digitalmedia.oreilly.com/aperture/ among other things).

I'm also borrowing an underwater housing for most of May and plan to try to get some in-water shots of people kiting around here...so if you see a guy bobbing in the water with a big camera, do something and smile at the camera
