Planning a dive trip to Monterey for Labor Day weekend and hoping to take kite gear.
Anyone familiar with kiting spots around Monterey or are there any?
Or maybe interested in meeting there?

Re: Monterey Kiting
Moss landing. But since the NW wind doesn't seem interested in coming back to the coast for the month of august, I'm not sure...

Re: Monterey Kiting
Thanks for the info.
I had suspected the wind wouldn't cooperate for this trip.

Re: Monterey Kiting
Over the years I've heard people have kited at the following beaches...
Marina State Beach
Del Monte Beach (Monterey State Beach)
Asilomar Beach
Carmel Beach
San Louis Reservoir is only about an hour away if you want to mix it up a bit...
