Long Marine Lab- Kite Spot?

I just saw on iKite the wind meter ramping up at this location. It's not much further than Waddells from my house. Is this a beach that is kiteable? I cannot find anything online about it.

The beach is a protected reserve. There is another beach nearby that is kited though.
