Whats the wind like in st. martin towards end of August. Trying to decide between Cabarete and St. Martin. Wife is a little more excited about St. Martin but think there is a chance of getting completely skunked on wind. Any insight greatly appreciated. Thx.

I don't have experience with St. Martin specifically but trade winds in South Florida are usually December through 1st quarter the calendar year followed by tropical storm frontal winds through summer and early fall. It makes the Caribbean a great destination 1-2 months into our off-season for a warm wind vacation
