Brazil/ Rio de Janeiro Kiting

To all tropical weather hungry kiters-)
The season has kicked off really nicely and we are getting 4+ nice windy days per week. Rio is a wave spot with a great left break. There is some fantastic flat water about 2.5 hours to the North at a place called Araruama. Be sure to contact me if you make it down here....

I took lessons from Martin down in Rio during December 2011 after reading this post, and had an excellent time. The wind was great, the beach awesome, and lots of great sights. As a kitesurfing beginner, I got a really high quality lesson from Martin and he was very welcoming.

At the end of this year's season in the bay, if you're heading to any exotic places, Brazil is really great. I highly recommend for anyone who is thinking about it to look Martin up and give him a call. I also rented an apartment from him for a few days, which was in an excellent location and reasonably priced.
