In this happy lawsuit State of California, a woman is being sued for helping her friend.

I almost got killed last Halloween, almost got run over by a pickup truck, helping out a bunch of kids from a wrecked spinout in highway 17, now I'm not so sure if I want to extend a helping hand if I get sued later on... "Oh thanks for helping me, by the way I'm suing you because I think you injured me even further."

What do you guys think?

I think it's an unfortunate fact that society almost forces us to back out of doing things we may feel obligated to do as humans for one another. insurance, legalities, etc. all reasons we wont ehlp the old lady accross the street in fear she may sue for thinking you were trying to rob her while holding her groceries.

Doesnt mean to not help others when in need but we are forced to think twice about the aftermath. Being on the other side is worse...getting robbed and wondering if it is ok to shoot the f&*^%r in the face with my .40 in fear i may go to jail for defending myself.

on a brighter note...

merry xmas

lawyers suck!

i always wondered what kind of person can make a living digging for fine lines between whats right and whats gonna legally win.

It is just another problem to add to the evolution of modern society.

Of course when you are guilty I am sure it is great to get off clear and free.
