The company I work for is sponsoring a night of instrumental surf music for Ride a Wave Foundation. Ride a Wave Foundation is a group of experienced surfers who teaches disadvantage children how to surf.

Re: The Surf Coasters - Ride a Wave Foundation Benefit
Just a reminder for Central Coast/Santa Cruz locals and visitors about tonight's benefit gig.
Ride A Wave Foundation, they're a bunch of cool folks helping disadvantaged kids. I'll see you out there tonight if you can make it.

the Shitones? sounds like the aftermath of a nice meal.
I take it bringing my short bus down would not be appreciated?
:)
p.s. what exactly is surf music? Is that like beachboys kind of stuff?

I think its pronouned as Shy-tones, but yeah, it does rhymes with barf if you pronounce it wrong.windhorny wrote: the Shitones? sounds like the aftermath of a nice meal.
Maybe, don't know what to expect or what kind of reaction you will get with your bus, ..., then again, ..., Santa Cruz is weird, ...,windhorny wrote: I take it bringing my short bus down would not be appreciated?

guy walks through downtown all day really sllloooowww at 0.00001 mph dressed in a pink Tutu and pink umbrella, takes him half a day to walk from one end of downtown to the other, and then another half a day to walk back up.
Of course, don't forget the famous naked chick that walks around downtown as well.
According to Santa Cruz Police Department, a woman (in this case), or a guy can walk around naked as long as they don't display any lewd behavior, for a guy it might be hard in the summer because of the cute tourists in skimpy clothes walking around, if he gets a woody, then he'll get arrested.
so your bus might fit in but don't take my advice on it
Yeah, something like that, but minus the lyrics, basically an instrumental rock band. The surf coasters sounds like they are influenced with the 60's and 70's psychedelic instrumental rock with a touch of grunge.windhorny wrote: p.s. what exactly is surf music? Is that like beachboys kind of stuff?
