i guess sharks are no different than kiters, when they see a camera tehy go crazy! but was the shark inside the bouys? :)

Hard to tell if the shark is inside the bouys. If its a popular surf spot, then it is definitely inside the bouys. However, the shark looks like it did a perfectly reasonable safe jump, ... only a few short boarders, downwind from everybody, ... no chance of colliding with swimmers or surfers, ...
I guess the shark was initially thinking, look at the surfers, ...mmmm, yummy, chewy bony surfers. The shark was probably going to take a bite, saw the photog, decides vanity comes first, chomp later, just look at the smile of the shark as it jumps high.

How stocked is the surfer dude? What a picture to have! We need one with a kiter in the front and a shark in the back, maybe we need more cameramen at Wadell....

You guys dont need to worry about jumping sharks around here..
Did you know, the So-Africans were telling people for years about there Now famous flying sharks, no one even showed up to film them for several years thinking this was some kind of hoax... Well turns out there sharks do fly, so now everone wants to go to So-Af. to photo them!!
Our sharks are really un-cool. Around here the Whitey's are so fat, ugly and slovenly they dont care if anyone gets there picture. They just take you down..
One minute your sitting there talking to your friends, waiting for a wave.. then it's like, where's Bob??

Shark week will be back next week, July 27, 2008 at discovery channel. Their site says they have air jaws II, higher and badder. I wonder if they finally got footage of huge great whites breaching along the California red triangle.
