Heads up in Alameda!

Just walked beach at extremely low tide.
Anybody that is possibly going to kite here, coud be thankfull they did the same!.
There is some knarley stuff being exposed this year(!). Walking out and seeing for yourself could prevent a debilitating
accident by memorizing the approx location of scraps of quarter inch steel plate, 5" broaken off post(s) with
sharp points, MANY large rocks, and eroded piling stumps!. :shock:

Here is a link to photos I took a few years ago at low tide when most evrything was covered. As Don says there are many many more of these protusions this year than ever before....

So you all have yet another reason to stay 200 feet away from the shore!

Just a note; Some of the nastyest hazards are beyond 200 feet from shore, so at a medium low tide
you could be flying inches above this stuff, better to go by water depth, more than waist deep would be smart.

Also be aware that the rock pile covering the pipe is very large and wide this year!.
