Very strange that after looking over ALL of the website I never found The Captain's last name.... Could this be an over site??
also Strange- 12 years "teaching experance" and I dont know who he is? I wonder if the stated instruction time is combined with some other sport(s)? or if he comes from some other location??

Anyway the boat looks SWEET and the modified Bare-Foot pole looks like it will get riders up on the board FAST! Also T.I. is a WINDY location with flat water behind it for easy access to good conditions PROVIDED by BOAT ACCESS. (OFFSHORE WIND) The only downside is T.I. has only one EXTREMELY DANGEROUS LAND LAUNCH and the more people that attempt to ride off T.I. the more likely we are to hear of bad injuries and potential drownings.
Take Care,
Greg Boyington

It's John VonTesmar...he used to teach for Helm...and probably other schools before that....he's got gobs of experience, and I can attest- his boat is siiiick.

as for the secret spots? probably not "secret" probably more "really hard to get to without a boat"

i doubt any spot is secret now that we all have google maps.

John's definitely been teaching here in the bay area for a while. The boat is sick and can get you to some nice spots that would otherwise be very difficult to kite too.

He's a nice guy, too. He saved me a long swim at 3rd a few weeks ago when I blew a valve (on my kite).

I have been out on Johns new boat and it is a REALLY sweet boat and perfect setup for easy learning. And the name of the boat is perfect too "WindSeeker"
