Advice

I was wandering if anyone is going to be at Alameda around 5-6 today.
It is my first water session and I want to make body drag and maybe a bit on the board if i'm lucky enough.
where is the best place to start?
I had my land lesson and I think I'm ready to move forward. I'm able to self launch/land and I was with my 12m in Berkeley park/marina a few times.
The important thing is Not to stop questioning

You should probably get a water lesson first. Maybe I am wrong but I find it hard to believe a kite school is giving you self launching/landing lessons on a 12M over land your first session. Go take a water lessons through Boardsports in Alameda as it is well worth the money. Everyone wants to rush out to be the next Ruben Lenton but trust me these days you don't want to end up on the jackass listing instead.

One more piece of advice for everyone please avoid Alameda over the 4th of July Holiday. Huge crowds all down the beach with little room for error if you crash your kite.
