Search the forum and you will find information.
Size wise, if you have never flown a stunt kite or a smaller two line kite of some sort you may be overwhelmed the first time. At 145 a 3 meter kite can drag you around in 15 MPH. You should have someone experienced with you if this is the first kite you fly.
HQ Beamer: Don't get version 1. Get the latest that has the bar (not handles). Good choice.
New Tech ñ lower quality than the beamer. Get one with the bar and safety system. I have seen them fall apart.
Radsail ñ same deal. Lower quality, get the latest one with the bar. Radsail sizes are little weird, I think it's the wing span rather than the area, so a 3 meter radsail actually has less area than a 3 square meter kite. Radsails are high aspect, so not ideal for a first kite, but good if you try to jump or ride a buggy.
Others to consider: PKD Buster and Ozone kites. Here you are stepping up in quality, performance and price.
Either way, have fun and ride safe. If you try to mountain board with the kite, you get more experience that will help you when you try to kiteboard on the water.
