Kiteboarding with a FoilBoard: Entering the water

Post by Captain John » Tue Jan 28, 2014 11:08 am

So, I've been down in Mexico and been wanting to use the warm weather for some new video inspiration. Turns out, I found a lot of interesting situations where thoughtful handling with your foil board is necessary. So, I started to get busy with the camera. Let me know what know what other positions could be useful and maybe I can try it next time.

Have you ever tried attaching a camera under the board, on the connection point between wing and board? Seems like the movement coming out of the water, as the board lifts, could look really impressive. Not sure if drag could be an issue though.

Hey John,

After helping you reverse the wing and removing the epoxy filler at Bruce's that day, I wondered how the board felt now? Mo Bettah?
