I've been searching around without luck. ...anyone know of a site with compiled info about snowkiting tahoe, especially south lake? Locations, directions, do's and don'ts, etc. I'd really like to take advantage of the new snow from the past week. Hoping for a shot this weekend. Rather not spend $75 on a lift pass.

Heads Up... there's going to be a crew going out to Grass Lake tomorrow. Tahoe Mtn Sports is going to be there with some demo Ozone snowkites and trainer kites for beginers. It should be good, but the winds will mostly be on the lighter side, so big kites are going to be the tool for the day... i.e. 10m and up. I know they were kiting there yesturday and had a good time. The winds looked good today too! Hope to see you up there. Cheers!

Well We had our first water/snow kite session this year ;). We had one foot of powder over 1-5'' of water. We showed up on Sat at 11 and it didnt look to good but in 30min it picked up to stay upwind. We played on Grass lake till 3 finishing with winds gusting from 5-30mph. Very gusty towards the end We decided to pack up our 12m and head for some beers. Sun was dumping and not much wind in the morning so We headed to Kirkwood having a blast in deep powder.
