Hello.
Have you tried any of the places in Tahoe for snowkiting? Which one do you recomend most?
BOCA RESERVOIR?
MARTIS VALLEY?
MT. ROSE MEADOW?
PROSSER RESERVOIR?
KIRKWOOD?
I am planning to move to Tahoe for winter months looks like there are a lot of places in north tahoe near the North Star resort. There are places near Kirkwood in South Tahoe as well.
Do you recomend South Tahoe or north?
This is going to be y first seson on snow.
Thanks Rafal

I'm gonna be in Tahoe (north shore) from 12/28 - 1/3. I'd love to break the kites out. Hope there's some wind. If anyone is gonna be around PM me.

Hello Jason, let's get together if there is wind on that Friday! We will probably go to Mt. Rose Meadows :) Right now they have forecast wind for Wednesday the 26th.

If you have to make a decision on which side of the lake to move to and you're going to base it on snowkiting, well I gotta go South Shore. I have lived on both shores and kited on both shores. South shore has much more consistent snowkiting location for conditions. If you need details, search this site as there is plenty of info that I have posted over the years.

I am going to be up in South Lake for the week next week. Looking to kite and heading to kirkwood next weekend but with kites in car. If wind then I would rather snowkite. Send me a private if anyone is going to be around.
