It's snowing right now, with more to come tomorrow:

SNOW REPORTS HAVE BEEN RECEIVED SO FAR AT CALISTOGA...ON MOUNT TAM AT AROUND 2400 FEET MODERATE SNOW WAS REPORTED AND BEGINNING TO STICK. WEB CAMS AND MEDIA REPORTS INDICATE SNOW IN HIGHER PORTIONS OF THE SANTA CRUZ MOUNTAINS AND DIABLO RANGE.

A RELATIVE BREAK IN PRECIP SHOULD OCCUR TONIGHT BEFORE THE NEXT SHORTWAVE MOVES INTO THE AREA SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING. THIS SYSTEM APPEARS SLIGHTLY STRONGER WITH A LITTLE MORE PRECIP AND SLIGHTLY COLDER TEMPS. 700 MB TEMPS ARE FORECAST TO APPROACH -14 DEGREES CELSIUS WITH 1000-500 MB THICKNESS AROUND 526 DM. THIS WOULD TRANSLATE TO AT LEAST A 1500 FOOT SNOW LEVEL LATE SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING WHICH COULD START TO AFFECT SEVERAL OF THE PASSES THROUGHOUT THE BAY AREA.
