Season Passes?

Any recommendations for the best season passes for this next season? I am looking for a pass for:

-Snowboarding when the wind is down
-Potential back country areas where snow-kiting is allows, and/or
-Resorts close to good snow-kiting spots (half days!)

Any suggestions? One that I am currently considering is the Tahoe Local Pass: http://www.snow.com/epic-pass/passes/ta ... P=SP000015

The Tahoe Local pass is a great option. Kirkwood has several areas nearby that are kiteable with the right conditions and I've heard there is a spot behind Northstar to ride. Kirkwood has great snow and terrain, Northstar has got the park features and Heavenly has the trees and tourist activities. You can also get the Kirkwood only pass for a bit cheaper.

I'm likely to grab a squaw/alpine pass again this year as I've found the terrain at Squaw to be some of the best in the area (Kirkwood is comparable but smaller and a little far from Truckee or South Lake for me). There are a few kiteable areas up there near Truckee and out toward Mt. Rose. I believe Squaw, Heavenly and Kirkwood all have backcountry areas with guided tours for a fee or maybe included in your pass. Sierra is a great cheaper option but you'll grow bored of the terrain after one season, and there is no kiteable terrain nearby as far as I know.
