Windsurfers were loving the rolling swells. Only a few kiters out this morning. Really beautiful. Nothing but respect for the gentleman riding surfboard strapless on red 9m Rebel.

Plenty of folks out this p.m. That was the steadiest session I've ever had on my 7M, gusting over 30 but somehow mellow at the same time. And butter between the swells.

Why in the world would I do that? I have reached board NIRVANA and it is called "Amundson Wave Custom, 6'5" by 19". (Thanks to your urging I bought a board that finally accounts for my mass. I could not be happier and my strapless riding is significantly improved-- greater comfort, turning speed, more control and a bigger sweet spot to boot.)

I owned plenty of custom windsurfers. What the heck took me so long on this one?
