Well folk,

Looks like our weather is a changing....the gradients are forecast to turn onshore by this afternoon......which means 3rd/Crissy should work....is crissy open to kiting/sailing again after the oil spill???

I checked out Crissy yesterday, containment booms in the way, official closed beach signs, brown foam at the water line,

so, no kiting at Crissy for a while.

But if you decide to try it, I will watch and launch your kite, better bring some downey dich soap to decontaminate afterwards, I recommend Dr Bronners liquid soap.

Normally, Crissy has much cleaner water than the rest of the Bay as it's right there at the ocean. Pre-oil spill, brown foam doesn't exist there. Berkeley and Alameda, not unusual...

I was actually thinking of Alameda not crissy. As you know i dont go there much. I guess there isnt as much cycling inside the bay, even compared to crissy. But I see that crap lining the shore in front of our place almost daily and assumed it wasnt related to the oil since it was there before.
