I went out to join everyone for the last race night at Crissy yesterday. I didn't race but kited up to the North tower and out under the bridge on the ebb tide and it was great on a 9m. It's often tough to get good conditions at Crissy, but yesterday was good...

Charlie, you nailed the call -- it blew all night.

Anyone who's headed to SI today should take a close look at the wind direction before they leave. SW means the launch is shadowed and the wind is coming over Mt. Diablo.

Hopefully if the sun comes out up here the wind will clock around to WSW.

Paul,
Thanks for the heads up about the SW wind. Experience always wins over some zany website, but this may give some hope for the afternoon.

35 minutes until departure. If it isnít rideable I guess I'll have to hop in the Cessna and buzz some poor ground dwellers.

Well, your own mileage may vary (ZG) but you'll find that SI is strangely empty on SW days even if it's nuking.

Charlie, if you stop posting posts, I'll know your on the water, then i'll go out. But as long as you're typiing I know it aint good enough to go out. And it's cold out. Go figure the one day Tianna leaves it gets cold at night. Now I gotta go find a temporary woman to sleep next to me tonight so i dont freeze AND explain to her I only want to "SLEEP" and i dont want anything else, and then explain to Tianna what happened. And you think you have problems with your N Pacific upper milli trough being pushed back to the ocean? MAN! So selfish.

:)

ah, there's my meds.

Charlie, I like the way you think. It's blowing 28 at the Bodega Buoy right now and I hope it blows at the coast all day tomorrow 28+ so I can ride my 7.

Looks like you missed some wind today at Pt. E...too busy moving boats?

Paul,

I'm going to be getting the new quiver of Rev's soon, did you still want the 9m Link to add to your 7m Link?

It was nice and empty at Sherman, I only had to share the water with about 8 other people for the 3+ hours I was riding. Definately worth the effort.
