I think that last forecast was the holiday crew at the NWS having a little laugh at our expense. The current forecast is alot closer to normal.

Windy. But not THAT windy.

It says 10M, but it's really a 9.

Once again all the weather forecasters were wrong big time! Both yesterday and today were supposed to be windless. Look at the Sherman m12 graph yesterday and it shows near 20mph all day. Why wasn't I there? Because I actually listened to the saps for once. Now it's blowing 26mph at Sherman and the forecast is low to mid 20s all day long! I'll take it! Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Get your forecast wrong every time...

If I were a weatherman applying for a job this is what I would say...

"Go ahead and ask me what the forecast is for any spot in the world and i will tell you."

"Ok, south padre, it is going to blow, not blow at all, or it might be between 0-40."

"I'm going on break!"

That was pretty nice. Powered 7 meter wind is always a treat. But i almost landed on a windsurfer. He came out of no where under me and for the first time i really had no idea what to do. I was very scared up there looking down on the perfectly positioned windsurfer to ream me a new A hole with his mast if i didnt do something quick. I let the bar all the way out and took the hard landing. I yelled and he fell off just in time. Yikes!! Close call.

Yuri, you were on a 7m? Ah, that explains the kiteloops. And here I thought you were doing that on your 10m. Why hasn't someone told the windsurfers that their sport has been cancelled?
