I agree Ed. On the coast I feel like a kook. Not the day to make the news!

9M was too big yesterday at OB by 5 pm. The only people kiting were out on 7s, and they were lit. Godsey made a joke about 5M kites in his forecast today.

OOOOO Folsom Lake was sooo sweet...

If I was to pick an ave. wind speed I would say it was 30 mph all day.
Guys on 7m to 9m

Warm wind, nice water, lots of friends... Great time was had by all.

I ended up on the coast and had a sweet session at dillion. 5 kites in the air, and good times had by all. I'm starting to like the coast thing!

Dewey,

Be careful with the coast thang........you are going to like it more and more each time......it only gets funner....pretty soon you will be looking for a lightly used directional, learning how to jibe....learning where the waves are the best for kiting...buying kites for waves......learning more about weather models......swell models.....tide charts..........

.......as a very good friend, who is hopelessly stoked on wave kiting, told me the other day, "they all just become part of the same wave ride"...very well said I might add...........be careful.........

.........once you get hooked, there is no going back.......before we know it, you will be saying:

"I'd rather be in the line up praying to god,
Then in church thinking about the waves" :P

Consider this your official warning......

I'm sure that my warning will go un-noticed, so just Get some, Z.

I'm there already. Good thing I don't go to church.

Still sore from three days in the mighty Pacific.
