I thought I missed it but was pumped to see it was sweet when I launched. Great session! I don't know why we had the wind, but we had it and it was fun! ;)

the wind was super steady too, right up until 5:50 (very easy to identify from the graph) when out of nowhere it shut off for a minute and when it came back on it was a bumpy ride back to the beach on punchy gusts. standing on the sand after coming back in, we could see the gusts coming in 30 seconds ahead of time out on the water.

i, too, thought it was just coming down as i launched, but you called it charlie. "looks like you guys gonna get a session". that was like the opposite of crying wolf... i think..

Sherman switched from north to west 18 after sundown; that's usually a pretty good sign for the next day. If the north wind is done, the valley's gonna heat up pretty good tomorrow and start pulling the onshore flow in. Saturday is supposed to get stronger Onshore and clouding up so it might get gusty but still good.

Going out on a limb here, since the marine forecast is still calling for 5-15.

Sorry Dave, it's all cloudy now; some low coming in from up north I guess. It was warmer at 8 am than it is now. Not looking good.

They're calling for 20-30 NW on the coast Sunday. Might be a good Stinson day for us beginner wave riders.
