Another random wind day at Sherman. Go if you can. It's at 18 now and looks steady.

It's sunny and warm here in the Valley and I guess still foggy in the Bay so it's sucking wind.

Charlie, you're right they're backing off on the rain and talking about it being "blustery" more than rainy, so tomorrow could be a good day, too.

I got a long list of stuff to do before it rains again, no kiting for me today. :?

I don't know..... we all get lucky sometimes...

I have yet to see anything for Folsom but we will see...
It's the "Storm Wind" thing you know...

I just wait for a storm and hope it blows, it's that simple...
If it's from the North we go to Dyke 8 and if it's South we go to Granate....

The only thing to watch out for is the following,

When the rain comes through (and you can see it coming) get back to shore... I always find the wind dies durring the squalls.

Also, remember all you newbies, once the weather turns cold, dress warm. Folsom gets frigid... brrrrrr butt ass cold. Wear a hood and a good 3/4 full suit...

If you get stuck out in the lake for 20 minutes you could be in serious trouble. At least when we windsurf, worst case we can climb in the board to get out of the water...

I also do the ice chest thing, fill it up with hot water for after your session.
Another thing I do is to put my wetsuit on at home and also take it off in the shower.... but the fact that I live 15 minutes from the lake makes it easy for me.

Lets all hope it blows after this storm,

I am looking out from alameda and it looks like there is potential but nothing to leave work over. YET!

Any predictions for later today, other than a little rain?
