I hate it when they get our hopes up and then dash them. So much for ocean kiting Tues/Weds:
Mon NW winds 10 to 20 kt. Wind waves 2 to 4 ft. NW swell 5 to 7 ft at 12 seconds and SW 2 ft at 17 seconds. Patchy fog. Mon Night NW winds 10 to 20 kt. Wind waves 2 to 4 ft. NW swell 7 to 9 ft and SW 2 ft. Patchy fog. Tue N winds 15 to 25 kt. Wind waves 3 to 5 ft. NW swell 8 to 10 ft. Patchy fog. Wed N winds 15 to 25 kt. Wind waves 3 to 5 ft. NW swell 9 to 11 ft. Patchy fog. Is there anyone on the coast where N actually hits the beaches? Lets hope Monday is at the high end of that 10-20. Paul
aka Pablito It says 10M, but it's really a 9.
Don't believe the man! I was at the coast this morning. It was glassy, a bit offshore and big waves. There was however, lingering coastal fog, which is beautiful for fall thermals in the right spots. Also, the makings of some NorthWest winds were definitely on the horizon. Wednesday is a long way away. Just wait ,young man, and see.

TI was good today! The normal tricky and dangerous launch and coming in is always fun, but very good steady winds!
so wasYup, all the usual spots delivered the goods today. I got some serious lovin at the gate with unreal butter and rolling nice waves. The ferries provided nice steep sections to smack....
I'm with Gabe. There is going to be wind this week in the promised land, you just need to know where/when, and have a positive outlook......lots of swell in the water all week, yummie........ Felt awfully nice to kite today, amazing how much you appreciate the goods after a bit of an absence.
