blowing mid 20's right now. I hope it settles a bit this afternoon. If not it'll be another boosting day.

Dewey,
The real boosting didn't even start until you left.

The graph for today sure looks like the good old days of last year. Let's hope it is the real season getting started!

Get some for me.

Too much wind = less pop. I think I was riding at the limit of the 13m as far as jumping is concerned. Hang was insane as well as height. I had a hard time holding a edge before takeoff. Today will be on the 10m.

BTW. I'm guessing you found your board.

When I finished on Sunday night, I was perfectly powered so that I was in control when sheeted out but massively overpowered when sheeted in (safety margin? What's that?) Swell was giant, so the equation was:

Bar out, edge hard, up the ramp, bar in...look, there's Antioch behind those trees, look, there's the beach coming at me really fast...

Gotta love that upper end of the range.

Looks like today was a repeat of last night, but all day long!

(It took 1/2 hour of stomping the tules, but yeah, I finally found it. Good reason to keep your booties in the car..)

Today was not a repeat of yesterday. Not really good wind to do anything great. When it did smooth out it dropped and the flood kicked in hard. Several people got the big flush.

You're probably just saying that to make me feel better. The graph made it look soooo steady. I guess it was just averaging 25 all day because it was gusting from 15 to 35 the whole time?
