Will it blow at 3rd?

The wind is ripping the roofs off here in San Mateo, but 2 miles away at the launch the water's glass. Mother Nature is a cruel b---h. Uh, earthquakes and hurricanes are bad things too, but this big a wind difference in 2 miles? C'mon!
I've got the next two months off, and I want to get as much kiting in as I can. How much season is left at 3rd? How's Alameda? Or should I get my feet wet at Sherman (I'm able to upwind now, I should be fine there, yeah?).
