Looks like the wind is filling in. The storm is on the way. Half moon bay looks good. Anyone ride yesterday? Looked like some wind at Pillar Pt. but I've never been there and I don't know how good the sensor is. I want to try some different spots this year. I got a little 25hp whaler so we can find some spots in the delta. Saturday was good at Alameda.

Well I'll eat those words.

It may be windy by 4, but it's also going to be raining, uh, pouring, by then. Check the radar.

As for me, I'll be planting today, kiting manana.

Gusty as hell over here at Point Emery. iKitesurf reporting 33 mph but that had to be a gust because it is not consistint over here. Alameda should be good to go though. I gotta buy a 10 one of these days but the Raven has enough range if it is just gusty. Gotaa watch those rocks though, got too close on sunday and a huge gust hit. Close call but no major damage done. I will be staying away from them for now on.

Paul eat your words. It went from being to light for Ollie and Jeff on 12m's to 30+ with 40++ gusts (I don't care what ikitesurf says) in about 30 min. It was even to windy to stand in front of the shack. That with the rain = no kiting. I think it's backing off although it still looks crappy. We were thinking of going out on a 2m foil.

Well, the weatherman screwed me again. Not only was I wrong about the wind at Alameda, but the rain started here about 4 hours sooner than they predicted, which was about 4 hours too early for me to get my work done. Mother Nature's going to put me out of business.

Can't say I wish I had gone down to kite, though, based on your onsite report.

I had a great time today on my 10m... no complaints.... did rain a bit... but not the huge painful drops....

Did some speed runs..... did some jumps.... did some hollering for Ryan, Bob, Eric and Don....
