Yeah, what a day,
Yesterday
Thats the most gusty I've ever seen it at Alameda. I've ridden in this gusty of conditions before, but it was in the HMB harbor, so it was really smoth water.

Also, Andy, I really like your set up, I think your TD flys really close to the edge of the window, I was going upwind with ease, I was hardly edging at all and was staying upwind. Maybe it was your glide. Though I think it was the kite. Definitely looking foreword to 2007 model, I'm pretty sure I'll go with a TD for my next kite.
Did you feel like it was harder to stay upwind on my kite? I'm curious to see if yours really does fly more forward.

I am not sure, but earlier this week, Yuri and I swapped kites (his unmodded CB12 for my TD12) and I initially had more difficulty riding upwind on the CB... but I am not sure if that was just me getting used to the kite and looking for the sweet spot.... or if it doesn't fly as far up the window as the TD... I like the TD, but the modded CB was pretty nice too... I can't believe how 2 extra pulley's change the nature of the kite...

Its true, and they only travel less than 2cm.
I felt great on the mod, I was finally able to ride one handed.
If there were better conditions yesterday, I'm sure I would have been haulin upwind.
