I sure hope that forecast doesn't translate into 12 mph from 4:30 until dark, uh, 5:15. Here's to hoping.

Also, there are hints in the forecast that weather pattern might be changing after Sunday.

Okay, I'll play.

THIS FRONT QUICKLY MOVES OFF TO THE SOUTHEAST AND SOMEWHAT BLUSTERY DRY NORTHWEST WIND SETS UP ESPECIALLY NEAR THE COAST AND IN THE COASTAL HILLS AND COASTAL GAPS. WINDS LATE FRIDAY NIGHT INTO SATURDAY COULD BE BLOWING 20 TO 30 MPH IN THE WINDIER SPOTS WITH HIGHER GUSTS ESPECIALLY ALONG THE COAST. WINDS SHOULD DIE DOWN SUNDAY IN ADVANCE OF A STRONGER WEATHER SYSTEM.
