hello to all
im about to visit the states on nov the 4th (palo-alto)
can someone please tell me what the weather should be like (in general)
what size of kites should i bring with me? (if i should at all) 10,12,16 ????
do i need a wet suit -water temp? im comming from israel so water temp lower then 22c is cold.....:)
good spots for kitting?
any info would be helpfull

I don't think too many people here would disagree that you probably shouldn't waste your time bringing your kites in November. The season will be over (actually, it's almost over now) except for the occasional post-storm clearing winds, which are very hard to predict and sometimes only last an hour or two.

If you come to the Bay Area between April and September, it's worth bringing your kites on the plane.

Sorry for the bad news. Trust me, we are as sad about the end of kite season here as you are.

Many of the core riders do ride year round, but as mentioned, there's no realiability to it. It's quite possible that kiting may be had on the Bay at that time, but just as possible that there may be no wind.

Last year I kited with some regularity through the end of October for what it's worth...
