seems like the bay took a breth today
from the north tower to the tules it rippled today.
any feed back?

Got in a powered hour on a 14m at Pt. Emery. Was pretty good.

Powered from 5-6 in the East Bay. Smooth flow w/occasional mellow gusts definitely exceeded Sep expectations. 14m was perfect until just before six. Oh. BTW, left some pretty big rain-drops behind in Pleasanton at 4:30.

Over here on the wrong side of the Coastal Range, we had a rip roaring lightning show plus numerous brief downpours. I heard it rained pretty good in the Delta.

I was on the landboard for about 1.5 hours until the wind was too much for the 2m. It came up pretty quick inland. Swirlly, gusty, and will turn your kite inside out in a second!!

Got a 2M trainer yesterday, and a 10M snowkite over the weekend. Any recommendations for landboards, Dewey?

My mbs core is fun. The mbs comp is stronger and lighter if you can afford to shell out the extra bucks. Check out the landboarding section of kiteforum and there's a bunch of reviews/recommendations there.

Ground Industries!! Made in the USA. I got the WW foils, they are not as stable as most foils, but pull like foils 2-3x their size. I can pop off my board 3-5 feet and glide maybe 10 to 15 feet in winds about 15-20 knots. I'm pushing 200lbs!!!

The smaller WW foils are just two line, and the bigger ones four lines? But the four line kites aren't depowerable really, right? The rear lines are brake lines?
I've never paid much attention to foils, so I'm a little confused about all the different options. I just got a 10M Flysurfer for snowkiting, which is a fully depowerable 4 line foil, like a Frenzy. But with the smaller kites for landboarding, does it work with just a 2 line, or are there issues with maintaining control?
