I use a 3m Airush trainer (2 line) and 6m Ozone Samurai (4 line, non-depower, just brake) with my Ground Industries board. I think with the smaller foils you don't really need depower, I always ride unhooked anyways on my landboard. I also have a 13m Peter Lynn Venom. Hopefully I'll get to try that one out on the snow this year.

Riding unhooked...that's the answer to my question.

That 13 might be a little big for snowkiting in Tahoe, unless it's got tons of depower. It seems like the biggest kite most people need is a 10.

Yeah, the Venom has a lot of depower. It's supposed to be closer to a 10-11m LEI.
