Sunday Alameda Wind

The wind direction for Alameda this morning at iKite lists ENE, but looking everywhere else, it look SE....

.TODAY...S WINDS 10 TO 20 KT WITH LOCAL GUSTS TO 25 KT.
CHANCE OF RAIN.

From 10AM to 1PM kiters were well outnumbered by poleboarders, but everyone had fun. There might be some folks who showed up for the afternoon shift as it's still blowing.

Was very gusty and up and down, but it's to be expected at this time. Hell, I'm not complaining. After a solid 3 hours onon an 11m, my feet are still kinda numb and hands are pink, but I should recover! :drinkers:

We'll see what tomorrow brings!

I should have got up earlier but they need to get the Alameda Cam working again too. I never know if I should make the drive or not.

The Alameda camera will be down until March at least.
So if you want the winter winds you will need to adapt your decision making.
