you remember the frist time you went to the coast.
now look at you
Who's to say I won't get worked again in the same fashion? I think it's probably safe to say that the conditions wouldn't be the same today or tomorrow.

But for the record, I wouldn't recommend kiting with a 6m kite in 30-35 winds with 12' surf for a first time in the waves to anyone.

not today

The high pressure moved to far inland, as evident by the winds this mornign at my house. When this happens, the wind goes too NNE for the coast to do it's thing. Friday does not look much better.

Sunday looks like a good day early in the day. A quick high pressure set up between storms....from NWS ".SUN...NW WINDS 20 TO 30 KT...DECREASING TO 10 TO 20 KT OVERNIGHT. COMBINED SEAS 10 TO 12 FT. CHANCE OF RAIN."...I have the decks cleared on Sunday for a road trip. You in???

Your first day was pretty intense conditions. The swells are not quite that big now.....as you know, it changes all the time. As they say in car commercials "your milage may vary" ;-)

It was a leap of faith my friends. Went to Crissy early, as it was going, only to see 2 people on the beach w/kites. They had a good early session in North winds.

I went up to the south tower to watch the macking waves and sick surfing. Impressive. Decided to pay my dues and burn some diesel. Drove to S. coast beach and had a sick 12m session for 2 hours. Well worth the drive time. Waves were massive. Still get the chills thinking about it.

Good wind + waves, Z.
