The 2010 Calendar Thread

Hey all,

It's that time again for a new calendar showcasing the best of Bay Area kiting.

If you'd like to contribute, please send in your shots and we'll get them in. Quality, clarity, high resolution and composition as well as some features in the shots showing the location are all things that help to make a great shot.

Hi everyone,

I wanted to say thank you to everyone who's sent in shots for the upcoming 2010 calendar. I think this will be the best one yet! We've gotten so many great submissions from talented photographers of killer shots with riders at many different locations that we'd like to feature as many as possible.

So, with that in mind, we're going to do some nice design work and incorporate some collage elements to feature more shots, while still keeping shots large enough to see details. Most every calendar you see has one photo per page, but I'm sure many would agree, even with the best shot, that can be monotonous. With so many good shots, it'd be a shame not to include many of them.

If you haven't sent in some shots, there's still time to do so, send them in!

An update for you all about the new calendar.

We've gotten lots and lots of great photos in, but with everyone's busy schedule and all, just got in the last of some key photos. We will finish it tomorrow and send off to print online, we'll hope for it as soon as possible, but they may not be able to be under the xmas tree. But much more work has gone into it than last year and it will feature many more riders, photographers and locations.

Thanks so much to all who have supported the effort with their contributions. You guys make it happen.

Calendar is done and off to print and with priority shipping, we may have in time for holidays. Will post a page for them tomorrow with Paypal link. Huge thanks again to all who contributed!
