Sometimes it's more fun. All depends. I'm finding the physical and personal challenge to be levels beyond that of kiting and the post-ride (long rides, lots of climbs) sore muscles and satisfying fatigue are on a level simply unattainable with kiting, so the contrast is nice for a change. 60+ miles on 3 rides this week, but don't get me wrong, I hit the water this week too.NCKite_Ryder wrote:I've crushed a few rides this season also. About 20 minutes from third, there's some great biking at Purisima and/or Skegg's - a few times this season, I've left the launch behind when the conditions were so-so to do a trail instead. The cardio and cross-training you get from a fun and tough trail ride helps a lot the next time you're on the water. And unlike the wind, the trail is always there ;)BayAreaKite wrote:Sometimes it's more fun. All depends.
