Sunday 4/5 - Could it have been more fun!?

Wow. Um, wow. I haven't had some much fun in a 2 hour session in a while. Check the graph between 4 and 6.

Lit on a 16, I was at the sand bar/shoal in 4 tacks. Low tide at the shoal made for endless 2 ft. ramps with nothing but flat in between. Played there for a bit, went to the Toll Plaza, spent some time there, then back to the sand bar. Popping off ramps and boosting all the way back to the beach on super steady wind totally wound. Arrived in time to send Chip off on a 13, then packed up and headed home....

I'm still smiling and I hope it's the same tomorrow. What a blast. Was everyone else at Sherman, Crissy and Alameda?

Check out the delta pretty much all day, was super super fun on my 12.0, totally lit for a couple sessions, i didnt stick around for when the tide ebbed, but im sure it would have been much better.

I'm hoping the wind will cooperate for a Tuesday trip to the Delta. Can't wait, let's hope for wind!!!

Yup, Delta was fun. Excellent morning ebb session. Repeat today?

Ollie, where is the sandbar and shoal you reference? Upwind of the Emeryville Marina or upwind of the island at Marina Bay?

Upwind of Emerywille Marina. Today looks like a repeat. I've got to run out and get some tasks done and get there at Alameda, Berkeley or Pt. Iz. Wind speeds are up now at 8:30 am. 15 at Alameda, 20 at Sherman, 17 Crissy. Awesome!

See you out there somewhere!
