This Thursday evening, founder and head designer Mat Pendle of Globe Kites joins host Ryan Riccitelli on ASNews.net Podcast # 60. Mat has a deep history in the industry. He was product manager and head of development in the early days at Wipika and then Takoon, and worked alongside Bruno Leganoix. In 2003, he broke off on his own to start Globerider Kites, now Globe Kites (GK), to allow him more design freedom on his own terms.
Mat will be talking about what it was like in the early days, his relationship with Bruno, the bow kite versus C-Kite debate, where he thinks kiteboarding is heading, and GKís innovations for the new 07 kites, the Sonic2 and Trix, both SLE/Bow designs.
