Sounds like Bestshiiite. If the leading edge ruptures, it's because stitching has failed, which is usually from pressure, which is usually from.... yeah, you get the idea. Sounds to me like their support is leading people down the road of multiple coronary bypasses...

I know about gages, but from what I was told the gauges you get with some kite pumps are inaccurate, and good only as a relative measure (IE all struts have same pressure). I was wondering if people know about a more reliable gauge. What I have seen is that gauges with the attachment like the kite pump are the cheap flaky type.

I think if pressure is such a big issue that 6.5 to 7 make a difference, kites should come with a reliable measuring system. I never saw anyone use a gauge other than the electric pumps.

Here's a good gauge - $7.50:

McMaster-Carr: 3846K6
Single Scale Steel-Case Gauge 2% Mid-Accuracy 2" Dial
1/4" NPT Bottom Connection
(request 0-15 PSI range)

No, I just fished around OSH till I found some stuff that would work - not very elegant. Talk to Rick at 3rd, he has a better setup.
