No that sensor is on the mesa, not near the beach and inland. Soon, the local club will have a wind sensor installed so the guessing game will be over. When I am checking forecast I usually use a combination of Noaa, weather underground marine forecast for Pismo (93439), satellite imagery, surfline (Pismo Beach) and dice:-)

Did you guys see the updated posting about North Kiteboarding joining the action and Best having some 07 protos to test?

Hey guys, Marina from The Kiteboarder here. I live in San Luis Obispo (Los Osos, next to Morro Bay to be exact) and paraglided here for close to 11 years before I got addicted to kiteboarding in 2000. I know the weather really well.

The expo started as a celebration around Kinsley's b'day in April. Now in its 4th year, we moved it to May a month later, as we normally have stellar conditions this month. That said, you can check out Kinsley's weather page at xtremebigair.com/webcam

So is there any updated forecast? All I'm seeing is pretty grim. Someone lie to me and tell me its gonna be nukin.
