Turbodiesel quiver (size selection)

Post by MG » Sat Apr 22, 2006 11:38 pm

I just bought TD 16m and am loving it so much that I'm planning to buy another TD in different size. I'm not sure if it should be 12 or a 10. I have a Vegas'05 8m that i could keep in case i buy the 12, or i could prob. have just a 2 kite quiver with 16 and 10 - it seems quite a bit apart especially since i'm currently getting a lot of mileage out of my Vegas 12. any advice? i'm 215 lb. guy riding in SoCAL.
thank you very much

Mike

the 10m is amazing and if you ever do any higher wind 18mph+ riding, you definately want to go with the 10... The range is very good, and it is a hot rod... The 10m starts to get fun around 15-16mph and the 12m gets fun at 12-13 at your weight... Since the 16m can be easily held into the 15-16mph range, go with the 10m...

Jeff at Kitewindsurf has these in stock too.

I'd like to hear more about your 16m STD... I just got a 14m

I like the 16 - my first bow, so still getting used to it, but like it a lot already. any tips on how to package it after a session - My C kites (even 16) i can put away in 2 minutes and can pack them really small, but haven't been able to do the same with the bow because of the tapered leading edge and battens - any tips? thx
