What Z & Limm bring up is very true. Sherman access is a "day use" site

We park at "The Sign" and as members of RVKA / RVWA the fee in the past has been $100 per month.
As this site is so close to "Kite Beach" this is also a viable option.

Thanks for all the clarification. I didn't know my half baked idea would cause a stir. Since it was just an idea, I'm glad to not have done anything to tick anyone off.

Will look into storage options. For just me alone, it's probably not worth the effort, I'll stay a day/weekend user. Does anyone else want to look into a camper that can be stored and then used when present?

All dog owners: Please pick up your dog poop and I will be happy, and if the dog is not on a leash, how are you going to know were your dog pooped.

I dislike irrational dog owners.

Boo hoo Jeffrey. Suck it up. In fact, why don't you also suck up that perpetually sour attitude of yours. I, too, have picked up multiple piles of dog crap, big & small. I've also picked up beer cans, soda bottles, cleaned the tables at the pavilions, etc... There's lots to do to keep our Delta available for ALL to ENJOY. Everyone can enjoy it for what it is and positively contribute to the community health.

lets get something straight, if i see any groups of people start chronic recurring trouble at sherman, i'm going to start throwing punches in every direction, regardless of outcome.

just an honest warning.

please resolve your "shit" haha sorry for the pun, away from the beach.

That's why it's good to stay ON TOPIC! The post was about campers at Sherman not dog s*&t. Where'd that come from? If dogs can goof around off leash at Sherman, where can they? Same goes for Crissy. What are people supposed to do, keep their dogs in a concrete jungle 24/7? Fact is at places like Crissy and Sherman I'm sure just about everyone is a responsible dog owner, but like Ed said, you can't follow the dogs around all day in case they might crap somewhere. We're just lucky we have toilets. I saw a documentary on poverty and in India there's places where the have rows and rows of outdoor 2' x 2' open stalls with 6" partition walls and no TP and there was a woman whose job it was to scoop them clean into a floppy woven basket. The caste system sucks...
