100 square meter kite today in Alameda (no kidding...)

Post by lmontejo » Sat Apr 08, 2006 7:50 pm

Did anybody take any pictures of the 100 square meter Kite flown today in Alameda by Naish's designer?

The wind picked up at the end of the afternoon, and we had a duel with Yuri.

He rode the Glid and his 12m Turbo-Diesel.
I rode the Glide and the 12m Crossbow.

Save the pics as jpegs with compression set to 'medium' to save space and upload as an Attachment. When you post, look for the 'Add Attachment' fields towards the bottom of the page...

I also have a video of this kite...

What I noticed was that it was slow slow slow....... Also seemed like it had a hard time heading upwind..... They boat was going pretty fast though considering the wind was not very strong....
