I just wanted to say thank you Jeff and Dave from Slingshot for taking care of the bar upgrade on the STD. Al it took was a phone call to SS and you made it happen. I am looking forward to using the new set up.
Thank you again
Robert

One of the benefits of having a local kite rep that works with the local shop.
Over the winter, I realized how much support the shop really does.... I adjusted footpads, rerigged bars and lines, repaired bladders, and gave tons of advice and small parts away... for free..
Jeff and Emily are working their asses off trying to plan events, seminars, and promoting the safe teaching of the sport... All of this costs money, and yet, you can still walk in, and buy a brand new premium complete kite for $600 or less with a warranty.
When buying a kite, these are the unwritten features that just don't show up on a website...
I for one and looking forward to riding in the Crissy to Berkeley downwinder at the end of this month. When Sky Solbach comes to visit, I intend to show him a few new moves... ie... Kiteloop backflop, and the inverted underwater handlepass.
